Ada Legal Notice

Ada Terms of Use

These product-specific terms supplement the general Lovelace's Square legal materials and explain the main rules for using Ada.

Last updated: April 21, 2026

1. What Ada does

Ada is a research assistant within the Lovelace ecosystem. It lets signed-in users chat with the assistant, save conversation history, and, when available, save workspace files and versions linked to a conversation.

2. Ada's role and AI outputs

Ada is a tool that generates responses from your prompts and saved workspace context. Lovelace's Square does not verify every prompt, file, response, or generated artifact and does not guarantee that any output is correct, complete, lawful, non-infringing, or fit for a particular purpose.

Ada is not legal, medical, regulatory, safety-critical, or professional advice. You must independently review and validate important outputs before relying on them.

3. What you should not submit

Do not use Ada to enter personal data, confidential information, trade secrets, patient data, student records, employment records, or any other information that you are not clearly authorized to disclose and process.

If you choose to provide any personal data, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis and all necessary permissions to do so. In most cases, the safest approach is simply not to include personal data at all.

4. Your responsibility for prompts, files, and data

You remain solely responsible for the prompts, files, instructions, and other content you submit to Ada, and for the consequences of using, sharing, or acting on Ada's outputs.

You must only submit material that you are allowed to use and process, and you must comply with applicable privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, research-ethics, and security obligations.

5. Saved conversations and workspace content

Ada stores conversation titles, messages, and related workspace versions in your account so that you can reopen, continue, rename, and delete them later. If you use workspace or project features, generated or uploaded files may be stored as part of that history.

6. Misuse, suspension, and availability

You must not use Ada to submit unlawful content, attempt to bypass security controls, overload the service, or process information in a way that violates data protection or confidentiality obligations. Access may be restricted or suspended if misuse is detected.

Ada may be unavailable, rate-limited, changed, or discontinued at any time. Lovelace's Square is not responsible for loss caused by downtime, output changes, deletions, or security or moderation measures, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lovelace's Square will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of Ada, your submitted content, Ada's outputs, third-party services, or any decision you make based on those outputs.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
